Service Description
Ever wondered why nature is better at building? Each organism has an embedded algorithm that learns how to adapt to every specific circumstance. This workshop will show us the power of thinking algorithmically and inspired by rules of nature to make custom 3D printed parts as assistive devices. With this rapid and affordable prototyping, we can solve and create temporary solutions for those in need! DAY 1 - INVESTIGATE: - Introduction presentations - Getting to know our possible users and co-design with them (empathetic interview) - Quick introduction to 3D printing and modelling DAY 2 - PREPARE: - Natural exploration of the outside environment - First ideas and prototype creation DAY 3 - ACT: - Possible excursion to clinic (if possible) / expert presentation - Working on prototypes - Testing on users DAY 4 - REFLECT: - Interface creation of technologies - Finalising projects DAY 5 - DEMONSTRATE: - Delivery of prototypes - Showcase to public
